Privacy and data
Flow Check-in is a shared habit community for daily completions, optional text, and encouragement. Registration uses an invitation, and sign-in uses Google.
We retain your stable Google identifier and email for account access. Email stays private. Your username, display name, optional bio, and selected Google avatar are visible to members. Avatar uploads are not available.
Signed-in members can discover habit descriptions and subscribers. Completions, text, comments, and reactions are available to current habit subscribers, authors managing retained history, and moderators. Profiles and notifications respect current membership access.
Account deletion is reversible: identity and activity are hidden, while data is retained indefinitely until a separately operated permanent cleanup. Reactivation restores permitted access and preserves moderation, but does not restore editor rights. There is no automatic permanent cleanup or data export.
Session cookies support sign-in. Language preferences are stored in your account, and appearance in your browser. Google is the identity provider. The operating plan provides daily local and off-server backups with 30-day retention. Check-ins require an internet connection and are never queued offline.
